Windwards Volume and Revenues
This section provides historical data on banana exports from the Windward Islands.

The decline of banana exports and revenue earnings from the banana industry is shown graphically. If a picture can tell a story, then the picture depicted by these graphs is a sad story of the decline of the Windward Islands banana from the impact of globalisation or trade liberalisation. In that period, the number of exporting farms has decreased from a peak of 27,000 to about 4,000 farms today.
